Unhappy Party and grinding?? - April 18th 2010, 03:20 AM

I'm going to a party in a week. My best friend can't go and I'm not really that good of friends with anyone else who is going to the party except my new boyfriend. How can I stay comfortable and not nervous, while having the time of my life? Also, I know there is going to be grinding. I'm definitely not a dancer, and I can't grind hahaa. How do you grind??

Re: Party and grinding?? - April 20th 2010, 03:22 AM

I don't go to parties very often, so perhaps I'm not the best person to respond to this thread. =P However, I do get together with co-workers and other "professionals" on a somewhat regular basis. It can definitely be intimidating, when you don't know anyone at a party/event. You may feel pressured to initiate conversations, or to impress everyone who meets you right off the bat. DON'T. Be yourself. =D Have fun, talk to whomever you want, hang out with whomever you want, and just enjoy the games and refreshments.

As for grinding... well, there's really not much to it. You don't really have to be a "dancer" in order to rub your butt against the front of your boyfriend's pants. =P But, if you're still looking for a "how-to" guide, I'm sure Google will yield many interesting results. Or, you could just wait until you're at the party, and observe everyone else before joining in.
