Is it even worth it? - July 29th 2010, 11:11 PM

Ok, I start out the summer hanging out with my friends from my hometown and they promised to hang out all summer. And they didn't. I now have 3 weeks left of summer, 2 if we are going to my grandparents for a week. I'm thinking about putting up a Facebook status saying that I only have 2 weeks left. Is it even worh it to even let them know? Or should I just leave without saying anything? They used to be my best friends and now, they've grown distant. So, what should I do?

Ring them, message them, text them, and if they're not bothered then they're probably not worth your time. It is a shame, but it happens. You'll know that you did your bit to try and keep in touch and to try and meet up, and they should be doing their bit too. Tell them that you're not here long and you want to make the most of it. If they still don't seem bothered they're probably not worth your time.

Make the attempt - that way you don't regret it later.

Stay this little. - - I won't let nobody hurt you.
Just try to never grow up. - - Never grow up.
