my stepdad might be cheating.

so i came home tonight, and my mom said she was worried.
i asked her why, and she said that my stepdad's ex-wife sent him nude pictures to his phone.
apparently they have been texting a lot and they're going to the casino together wednesday.
he didn't tell my mom about the pictures.

i'm so worried.

Im sorry that this may be happening but you don't need to be worried. It really isn't your place. You really should let your mom and stepdad work this out on there own.
If your mom wants to mention to your step dad that she found the pictures then that is her choice. If she feels uncomfortable with him going now because of what she found, she should be the one to mention it to him. You can let her know this, but other than that you need to let them deal with this. You are only seventeen and should not get in the middle of it.

Wow that sucks if he is... thats a rough world to be in for all involved. I mean your step dad and his ex have a past, and there will always be that connection and feelings and so slightly understandable... kinda.... then again obviously it didnt work out and hence why they divorsed and he got together with your mom.... Mainly its a issue for your mom and him to figure out/work through but seeing as it does still affect you, you should still be involved on the side lines. My suggestion is be there for your mom and anythign she needs through this. If you have a good enough realationship with your step dad you might take him aside one day and talk to him about the whole thing and find out (what he is willing to tell you at least, most likely he would lie, but maybe not) but be calm if you do talk to him, no need to add extra stress to the situation, best you can hope for by talking to him if he is chearting it might spark something in him to let him know he is affecting more then just him and your mom and that you do care and all that jazz.... best fo luck
