I want to resolve it. - September 22nd 2010, 01:56 AM

This will be kind of long. Please listen and advise.

A few facts to get you started: I migrate. My family and I have two houses and we snowbird, for family reasons. I dance ballet. The following happened at my school in FL. I'm currently in NY, will be leaving in Nov.

I was becoming close with a girl, we had been to each others' houses, she seemed like a great person. Then, disaster struck in the form of contemporary class. We were doing the trust excerise and it was going fine until one time she fell on me and my shoulder REALLY hurt. I kind of...screamed....yeah anyway my dad comes in all "HERO-DAD" and bustles me out of there. not that I was complaining, I wanted to get home to my mum. xD. I mean, this frigging HURT. So after that she starts acting cold toward me, blah blah blah and I'm thinking it's just embarrassment so I give her space but show her I'm not upset, everything's fine. My shoulder was better in a week.

She kept acting cold, and I made the mistake of talking about my cousin and the trust excerise and I figured she overheard. So I confronted her, said I wasn't talking about her, whatever. And she says her sister heard me and my dad talking bad about her. She doesn't "hate" me of "hold a grudge" but she doesn't want to be close.

I NEVER TALKED BAD ABOUT HER!!!!!!!! If I said something about it was 'I hope she doesn't think I blame her" or something along those lines.

This happened in maybe March. I left, she acted OK, but I read some of our emails and I would really like to be friends again...what can I do?

Well, that happened in March, it is now nearing the end of September, she should be over it. Email her, dont bring up the argument, just ask her how she is going etc. If she has not gotten over it, then she is not worth the trouble.
