Unhappy Worried about Mum. - November 24th 2010, 04:39 AM

This thread has been labeled as triggering by the original poster or by a Moderator. Please take this into consideration before continuing to read.

I posted a thread saying how worried I was about my Mum because a few weeks back she was diagnosed with Anxiety and Depression and told me that she wants to jump off a bridge because of how depressed she feels and she now knows the reason why people commit suicide. I thought that maybe the medication was helping because the doctor told her she could increase it.
But today I was proved wrong. She told me again that she knows and understands the reason why people commit suicide. I don't know what to do. My Mum's losing weight because she can't eat. Because of the "knot in her stomach" she feels like she doesn't want to eat.
I told my Mum to see a councillor, psycharist or therapist but she won't because she went to one when she was diagnosed with Anxiety and Depression but it didn't help and it's too expensive.
My Mum says that I don't understand but I do because I had OCD and I still have Depression. But everyone thinks I'm getting better that's why my Mum says that I don't understand, when in fact I do.
My Mum's going to see the doctor again for stronger medication.
What can I do?
