My group is splitting apart - November 25th 2010, 02:53 AM

My ex boyfriend has been ignoring all of his old friends and has been hanging out with new ones. Some of our old friends he still hangs out with but the rest of us feel totally left out. My friend Gabey will ask him to stop leaving her out and he will agree not to, but about a week later he stops trying and ignores her again. Its hurting us and we have no idea what to do as he won't listen. Any ideas?

And here you are living, despite it all.

the same thing happened between me and my friends. it sucks but the best thing to do is just to let go of him and get a new friend...people change, and sometimes theres nothing we can do about it :/

As you get older , your circle of friends will start to drift apart. It's not nice but IT HAPPENS!
You'll make new friends in the forseeable future

It's tough to deal with it.. but as people get older, you change and when you change you start to grow apart. you go on two different roads. it hurts a lot but as time passes by you will some new friends that will be even better and they will remain your friends. So just remember that even though it might be hard now, it will get easier through time :')

Hey there,

It's normal for when you grow up that you 'lose' your friends. Circles of friends do split up sometimes and it can be hard, but you'll always make new friends.

Take care.
