Alone... - November 26th 2010, 06:46 AM

Well in the past year all my friends i knew from school abandoned me .__. i fell into a slump of depression and hid from the world for a while and they completely ignored me, all they do is go out drinking and clubbing, i tried to fit in i tried to go along with what they were doing but it just wasn't me as a result i am entirely alone and spend 24/7 alone only seeing my father and siblings as my mother abandoned me too.

I don't keep the friends i do make for long .__. they usually get sick of my depression and start ignoring me, its so hard....i'm trying to avoid talking to people when im sad so they will like me more .__. but that hasnt worked either, my happy face only works for my family .__.

Hey there,

Perhaps you should try and find some friends that have similar interests. Are there any groups in your area that meet and have discussions about depression? If you find people who are more like you, then they could relate and would be less likely to drift away from you. I would try and get to know people before you become too attached and make sure to keep in touch with them. Best of luck, I hope things work out for you.

And here you are living, despite it all.
