it has to stop somewhere - February 23rd 2009, 09:16 PM

ive had so many falling outs with a so called mate of mine we've known each other 17 years but our friendship has been so up and down all through school we were constantly falling out and making up and now im thinking its been broken too many times to be fixed

a group of us went out last week for my bday and i told her if she wanted to sort things that would be a start and she came out with us but she was just like she always is...on her phone all night

we said about going to the pub after...her idea everyone was up for it but we wanted to go to a different pub to have a catch up and that cos it was quieter ....she came with us for about half hour before buggering of to the other pub to see her other mates

why are we never good enough for her why cant she just spend the evening with us without feeling the need to go of with other people and get hammered i CANT get hammered cos it brings me down and i could notrisk being down the day after because i had work and i was in charge that day and more importantly i cut when im down and i was going to tell her everything because i thought maybe it would help but having seen she isnt really that intrested im glad i didnt tell her anything

there has to be a time when we say no more and just put it to an end i guess i just imagined us always being friends but i cant be friends with somoeone who deosnt accept me for me

Hey,
Have you tried talking to her about how you feel? It might help if you try to set up a meeting so you can discuss your friendship and see how things go. You both might decide to hold on or you might see it really isn't worth saving right now. In the end it's up to you though. Someday you might be friends again. Just do whatever you think best. I hope everything works out okay.

I'm not alone
You're in everyone I see
So tell me
Do you see me?

Hey,
I'm sorry it's not working out. It is hard to let go but right now it probably is your best choice. I'm here if you ever want to talk.
