Thoughts on ? - January 27th 2011, 05:32 PM

Thoughts on parents saying no to go/do something but yet. when someone else needs something they will go . even with the roads being bad and terrible.

Well, I think it depends on the circumstances. For example, if what you would like to do isn't essential, but what the other person wants to do is, then your parents may be more willing to help them out. Your parents may also feel like they owe the other person a favor, because they helped your parents in the past.

This is entirely circumstantial, but generally kids aren't nearly as good at driving as people who've been doing it for ten, twenty, or more years. Back in my younger years, if my parents told me that the roads were too dangerous, I'd take their word for it, even if I didn't like it. Even now that I've been driving for four years, I still have problems once in awhile (like when driving while it's sleeting, which I would never recommend).
