Having the same problem with my uncle, like I had with my mom (Kind of) - January 10th 2009, 12:37 AM

Sorry for the long post ahead of time.

Okay, since I posted my problem with my mom a while back on here I decided to post this one here.

So a few months back (August-September-ish?) me & my mother got into a huge fight, which resulted in us not talking for almost 3-4 months.
We got that out of the way, I apologized & all this stuff. We're good now. Better than ever.

Now a few days ago my uncle (mom's brother), who I was raised with under the same roof for 10+ years (since I was born), decided to get on my bad side.

He calls me a bastard just like my father. Says I have no education, no manners, no class, no future, & a whole bunch of other crap.
& I go off on him saying a bunch of things that I can't seem to remember.

My situation with him is a bit worse than the one that I had with my mother because he knows some things about me (that I don't feel like typing) that I feel like he'll blurt out to my grandma (his mother) (who I've been living with all my life).

I see the guy almost every other day. I don't know what to do. I find it kinda silly but damn.

Any suggestions?

Have you tried talking to him. Just the 2 of you, and try to figure out you decided to go off on each other. Or maybe see if you can agree to not talk for a while and give each other space for a bit...or maybe ask your mom and see if she can help.
