Adorable? - November 4th 2011, 05:55 PM

I think this goes here..im not too sure.

So I met my boyfriends female friends the other night. Most of them are nice, some of them aren't mean but they're not the type of girls i'd hang around with. Anyways, one of his female friends keeps texting him saying "I really want to meet her!" Like..three times. So we end up meeting and she is nice but she keeps calling me adorable! Like.."Omg..your so adorable!" "Aww..your too adorable!" "Your girlfriends so adorable!" What does that mean? Is she being nice..or? Im not doing anything "adorable", either.

I'm not sure what she means by that. What's the tone in her voice like? She may be genuinely nice and means what she is saying! Ask your boyfriend if you want. I'm sure it's all good thought

Well I would take it as a good thing. I say that about people and I just think they are awesome, but that's just me. My sister says that its what you should call people younger than you. Like when you think they are cute or funny. I like my idea better.

Totally depends on the person who's saying you're "adorable". In her mind, "adorable" could be a compliment, or it could be a means of belittling you. Personally, I'd take it as a compliment, unless her actions prove otherwise. There's no need to nit-pick based on word choice. If she's saying you're "adorable", but treating you like dirt, then you'll know what "adorable" really means in her mind.
