Step-dad really frusterates me

It was my first night at a brand new job as a hostess and I don't have a car at the moment so I need either my mom or step-dad to pick me up around 9. So I tell my step-dad that I'll meet him outside where he dropped me off around back. And what does he do? He parks the car without even checking our meeting place..while im sitting there watching him..walks straight in and starts asking around for me. I watch him go from one waitress to another while im trying to get to the front entrance. Finally I get there and he comes and drives me home but all the other waitresses are just looking at me.

I'm o embarrassed. I'm eighteen. Not a little kid and he makes me feel like one when he does things like this. Now they're all going to be thinking he's weird and i'm weird.

I didn't tell him I was upset but I wasn't nice either. That really pissed me off!

I would wait until you are feeling calmed down enough to talk to him, and then tell him why he made you upset. Let him know that you'd appreciate it if he would just wait out front for you.
If this continues, could you ask your mother to pick you up instead?

I agree with Melody, I think you should talk to him forsure about it, but wait a few days. The next day you work make sure you tell him again about the meeting place, time and everything else; maybe he forgot!
