You and some other of her friends and family should set up a place where one day all of you can get together and talk about it. It would be great if you knew a councoluer who could be there, even if it's your school councoluer. Sit and talk with her about the negative affects drinking has on her, you, and everyone else that's there. If she does stop then all of your problems that you've mentioned might decrease or go away. I hope this will help both of you.

Dealing with it - or ignoring it is the question.
See thats really the only 2 things you can do. Deal with it - or ignore it. Unfortunately if your mom doesn't want help you can force her to get it. However, if she is hitting you - then you can all the police and obviously she wont be able to drink in Jail. I would try talking to her first and tell her how this effects your everyday life - how you cut and how you want it all to stop! If she does nothing to stop this problem, then you may have to resort to an action like calling the police or something similar. Most people with an addiction have to be forced into health - which is unfortunate. If you ever need me - feel free to PM me. Best wishes, Chris Chris Jackson
