We have a family friend who lives two doors away. She may as well be my cousin. She's in our house all the time and we treat her like family. I like her more than my actual cousins/aunts/uncles.
She had a smear last year and they found abnormal cells. They checked up and they were cancerous. They thought they were all removed but they're back she may need chemotherapy SHIT She's only 31 :/ I've been trying not to think about it and been making myself think it's fine but I don't think it is I'm friends to her daughter :/ she's only 13, she has been through enough shit as it is

I'm so sorry to hear about that.
Definitely try to be there for her and her daughter if you can. Cancer's a tough thing to go through but having people around her as a support system will definitely help the family through it a bit. I know when my father was going through cancer, it definitely helped to have so many close friends and family members around to help. It's okay to worry and even cry sometimes, it's a hard thing to go through, but try to stay strong.

Wow - it seems bad things happen to good people. I agree, you can kick yourself about it as much as you want - the best thing to do is to understand what is going on, and just be a friend. Sometimes thats all people need - someone to talk to, or someone to just have a normal conversation with. Just be there for them.
I'll keep everyone in my thoughts. Best wishes, Chris Chris Jackson
