Move or Don't Move? - February 21st 2012, 05:17 AM

I live with my mom and grandparents and my little sister. My mom doesn't have a job and we have no money. We were planning to move to Oregon when we get enough money.Oregon is a place i love and would love to move to but i don't think we'll be moving anytime soon cosidering my mom still hasen't gotten a job.Icna't stand living with my grandparents and sharing a room with my sister cause we fight almost all the time.I could go live with my dad in Sacromento and never move to Oregon or I can deal with it and stay in California.Either way I'll be unhappy. What shouldI do?

I know times like these are ruff, and I would explain that to your sister. Try bonding with your sister and hangout with her more. Atleast try.

As far as the moving thing, I cant answer this for you. If you will feel unhappy either way (staying where you are or moving in with your dad) - then maybe it would be less drama and more cost efficient to stay where you currently are instead of moving all your stuff and living with your father.

I hope you know that you deserve it all. The best, the most honest, the most beautiful purest love in the world. Not only to be loved by others, but to be loved by yourself. To look in the mirror and think "Yes, I'm exactly who I want to be". To speak up and be proud of yourself. To be brave and open. You deserve the nicest and most caring people to walk into your life. You deserve it all, you know. The whole world...

I'm sorry you're having such a hard time living with your grandparents at the moment. And sharing a room with a younger sister can be pretty difficult sometimes, I know what it's like! Have you thought about talking things through with your Mom? Tell her how you feel and maybe you could come to a decision that way? Another good way I find to come to a decision when I'm having a hard time with it, is I write a list of pros and cons...it can be a really useful way of sorting out all of your thoughts about one particular thing. If you ever need someone to talk to, I'm always here and you can pm me anytime. Take care!

I agree, a pro and con list always helps in life changing decisions. Not a single move I make in my life isn't premeditated. That way there are no surprises or regrets
