Low Carbs - July 2nd 2013, 04:21 PM

I'm on a [Edited by Kitty.] diet at the moment as I am trying to shred body fat over the next 2-4 weeks. A [Edited by Kitty.] diet consists of meals which are high in fat, average in protein and low on carbs.
Does anyone know any Low Carb Recipes at all?

Hi, When I'm trying to cut down on carbs, I just switch the carbs for a vegetable. Like if I fancy macaroni cheese, I'll make myself cauliflower cheese, or I will make a meal (like steak or chicken) where I just miss out the carbs and have loads of veggies instead. Soup is good for cutting out carbs, things like stir-fries are pretty good too, just don't have rice or noodles with it.

I'd recommend talking to your doctor for any extreme change on diet. Overall, for this type of diet, is have it very meat centralized. Breakfast having sausages, maybe some baked chicken at lunch, and a salad with shredded steak for dinner. Even if its low carb, make sure you're still eating vegetables. Fruit is high in sugar, ao its understandable if you avoid it, but vegetables are high in fiber and nutrients you won't be getting in meat. Mainly, I'd avoid grains, potatoes, and fruits but load up on veggies and meat.
