made cookies - February 2nd 2017, 06:47 PM

I had tons of over riped bananas so I thought to make cookies and thought I would share my personal recipe.

Keep in mind this was all based on ingredients I already had so I kinda improvised. There's probably easier ways to do it, is: using store bought flour lol

Preheat oven at 350 degrees

Bananas (I used about 7)
Apples (I used 2)
Any other desired fruit or nuts (I used one pear but can vary)
Almond milk or any other milk you like
Raw quick oats
Flaxseeds and/or flaxseed meal (I used 2 different ones, one that was more grounded than the other)
1 carrot
Mash bananas with fork, or mashing utensil. I don't have a blender but I suppose that would make things...smoother? (no pun intended)
Then add almond milk to desired consistency and mix
Grate the 2 apples, pear and carrot
Mix well in bowl
Add oats and flaxseeds to desired consistency and keep mixing

Then on the pan add oats and flaxseeds. From the batter take pieces and make little patties and dip into flaxseed+oats and then put on the side to indicate ready for the oven. Then put in the oven. Check when it is read and soft, then flip each one to the other side and bake it on that sad for like 10 minutes. Then it is ready!

They taste really yummy and I made about...20? Well I made 6 of them yesterday for testing and then made the rest today. They're at home in the fridge now.

Ooh, I didn't know you were a chef. They sound like tasty, fruity cookies. I'm gonna have to try this soon. I've been wanting to make cookies. Thank you for sharing!

Yum! I love flaxseed so much, it has such a great nutty taste These sound delicious and also pretty healthy!

These sound good! I make something like these but without the banana. I will have to try these because they are allergy friendly for my siblings.
