The best chocolate chip cookies - February 5th 2019, 01:20 PM

I stumbled across this recipe just before Christmas and man! Itís legit the best choc chip cookie Iíve ever made. Itís super easy and itís ready to be devoured or dunked in a cold glass of milk in 12 minutes. These cookies are crispy on the outside and soft and chewy in the middle

Ingredients:
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
1 cup melted butter
2 eggs
2.5 cups plain flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups chocolate chips - milk, white, dark itís up to you or even m&mís

Method:
1. Combine all ingredients and scoop onto baking tray using an ice cream scoop, spread apart evenly and bake for 12 minutes at 375F or 190C.

If you like the cookies to be crunchy all the way through, bake for a couple minutes more. If you made these, please let me know how it went

I haven't had time to bake with school, but I love baking (especially cookies!) I am going to look and see if I have these ingredients and hopefully give it a try soon!

Re: The best chocolate chip cookies - February 8th 2019, 01:26 AM

I made these tonight! I actually prepared the dough yesterday but had to chill it because I ran out of time. The dough smelled awesome though.

Mine were darker (because of the chips) and they kind of looked a bit like brownies! I used the chips I had left which happened to be a combination of semi sweet and dark chocolate. I had a half cup more but I figured that would be okay. I put the chips in before the butter, so it ended up melting them a bit.

They taste awesome and I am going to dunk them into some milk tomorrow. Thanks for sharing!
