How To Cook a Turkey

There are many turkey cooking methods and I don't intend teaching Grandmama to suck eggs, but, some of us aren't too kitchen savvy (unlike me), so I found a jolly good site what keeps everything nice and easy.

How To Cook a Turkey: The Simplest, Easiest Method by Emma Christensen

[Skip (the video illustration below) unless doing Honey-Glazed Ham
A few wheel-scrolls on your mouse will bring up a mighty useful mini-video called Watch which is educational for Slow-Cooker Honey-Glazed Ham.]

Emma Christensen's advice is excellent: Info on making turkey gravy, how to brine a turkey, how to thaw one etc is included down the page.

Following her useful advice means you stand a better chance not cremating your turkey. You may laugh, but it happened in my fam where the turkey didn't and got charred. Only 10 years old at the time and thinking I knew it all, I barely survived.

I cooked it several times for my GF. I used classic Jamie Oliver recipe.
