i agree with you on liquorice. it's absolutely vile.
some other foods i hate are.. mango butter (don't mind melted butter in cooking or stuff like that but i won't have butter on sandwiches) red apples (but i love green apples) liver/kidney.. anything like that black pudding anchovies drinks i hate.. anything blackcurrant/berry flavoured cider red wine tonic water |

Licorice, turkey, mashed potatoes, butter (like Elle said), black coffee, tea, tomatoes, fish, celery, pot roast, roast beef, etc.

I hate licorice, fish, anchovies, liver/kidney, i like lays potato chips but not the baked ones, i dont like root beer floats or ice cream floats in general they sound delicious in writing but now when i actually eat them, i dont like any recipes in which oranges and chicken are put in the same dish (i like chicken and oranges but not together), i dont like watermelon
i dont like tea and im not a fan of coffee unless it is mixed with a ton of other stuff but i LOVE the smell of coffee ~Samantha~

I quite like liquorice but it has to be on its own. The french do it the best.
Things I hate are milk, aubergines, coffee (i seriously don't get how people can drink that stuff), pepper (the condiment) and i'm sure there's more.. |

Being vegitarian, anything with meat in it. I can't stand butter if I can taste it, I don't like cheese, and I can't stand salt except on chips. I can't stand fizzy/tonic water, rum, or whiskey either xD

I'm a very picky eater, and my list could probably go on for days, so i'll just catagorize them.
 Foods: Meat Most veggies Most fruits Most fast foods/junk foods Drinks: Orange/Apple/Cranberry Juice Milk Soft drinks I still eat alot of stuff I hate, I just don't enjoy them. Being a picky eater sucks.

Licorice is a really gross flavor, I must admit. Definitely ranks up high on the least favorites list.
I also do not like grape flavors one bit (even though I enjoy eating grapes). This means any grape flavored medicine (well, I'm not alone on that one anyway), grape flavored popsicle, grape flavored candy, or even grape juice is ranking near the top of my hate list. Tomato flavors are the same way. I like to eat tomatoes. And ketchup is okay. But tomato sauce is disgusting, so are things like V8. I find coconut and olives gross, like many people here. I have always found milk to be disgusting. A lot of meat is disgusting, This is more a vision factor, like if the meat is rare and oozing blood it makes me sick to look at it. But the times I have eaten it the flavor is bad too. My personal hatred is any sort of seafood. Yuck! Could probably go on and on - I'm an extremely picky eater. That covers the worst of it, though. Another Liquorice hater here.. Dont like sprouts, olives, red onion, that purple lettuce stuff, bananas, dont like any of that red or blue cheese....(yellow cheese only please)
As for drinks, I dont like cranberry juce, strong tea/coffee (love it when its milky though), fizzy flavoured water and orange juce with the bits in (freaks me out) |

I already posted, but I'm curious - is there any reason why some of you hate a certain food? Nasty tastes don't count - if you don't like the flavor, you don't like it. But I'm curious about other reasons, like smell, color, etc. Something you wouldn't touch just because of that.
Examples for me...avacado or guacamole, no matter how wonderful someone says it is the color makes me sick. And any sort of extremely smelly cheese, like limburger...the smell makes me gag, so how would I ever be able to eat it? I'm just curious to see if most people who hate certain foods haven't actually tried it, and just hate it based off of it's properties or other people's opinions. Texture is a huge problem for sure. Oily things - like flax seed crackers. A health food, probably most of you haven't tried it...but it's just so oily, it's disgusting to eat. Mushrooms have an odd texture, the flavor is fine but I can't get past the texture enough to eat them. And the orange juice with pulp - plain nasty texture.

The hate on licorice and olives is strange, I love both. Garlic olives are awesome.
Aaanyway, can't stand. Certain cooked vegetables... carrots, parsnips, pepper, tomato, aubergine and okra. Spam, paté, fake or processed meats. Clove candy Supermarket fish, cod in breadcrumbs and such, I'd only eat fresh. Soda water. Most forms of alcohol. Currently inactive...
