Plain or Shaped Macaroni? [Poll] -

So I got into an argument with my mother this morning (a debate, rather) about how I prefer the shapes to the plain macaroni because they taste differently to each other. She promptly told me it was a head trip and essentially that we could suck it up and eat it if we got hungry enough. :P So I told her I would do a poll online and see how many people find they taste the same and how many people find they taste differently.
So, do you prefer the shaped macaroni or the plain macaroni? Do they taste differently to you? And we're talking Kraft here. I haven't had any other boxed types of mac n' cheese.

They're going to taste differently because if the macaroni has more surface area, more cheese is going to stick to it. Though it did vote wrong (I didn't read the mac&cheese part til the end).
I actually prefer the original kind over any of the others, so disregard my vote

I hate it when we mix boxes of shapes. Sometimes we run out of the same kinds of shapes we have to put Spongebob and Scooby-Doo or Scooby-Doo and Toy Story. But at the same time, I like having a selection. Yes, this generally means, like, 6-8 boxes of macaroni, but who cares.  Thank you for voting everyone! |

'Macaroni' refers to the shape, so surely if they're not that shape they shouldn't be called macaroni??
 Heh, I don't know, we don't have these thingies in Ireland apparently. But I do have preferences over my general pasta shapings.

Plain. Because I prefer to go old school like that. It's just that the shaped kind distracts me from enjoying my mac and cheese!!

I've always been fond of the shapes ahah. My favorite is the spongebob ones. I'm not sure why, but they just taste better to me.

I've always been a big fan of the shaped ones; they tend to be composed of less healthy/natural ingredients, which unfortunately for me, I find much more delicious than that natural crap.

I said plain. I don't really care - boxed food is boxed food.
you could always make your own macaroni and your own cheese sauce and then bake it. :/ takes about 2 hours if you know what you are doing. You know you are on the precipice of greatness when you feel joy, fear, and the butterflies of change all at the same time.  |

I like the shaped kind better. It's more fun to eat, an when I was little, I always found it fun to spear the little shaped characters with my fork. I was so morbid
