No idea what the tradition is but we are having traditional Sunday roast with lamb in our house tomorrow. We will be having a big fry up lunch too

My family has our own tradition. Lobster and finger foods... and yes, we did have it.

Well this does not exactly apply to New Year's Day, but rather New Year's Eve. We used to have a seafood night, Fried shrimp and fish yum..... however we stopped the tradition.

same here. we had lamb with all the trimmings. yum. i'm so full now and i have some chocolate to eat.

Usually i'm skiing so we don't really have a tradition.
This year i went to a party though, and we had canapes (How posh? ) and then a buffet. Pigs in blankets FTW.

I never knew there was a tradition for New Year! We just have all the family round and have a buffet type thing. I guess that's our own little tradition!
