Vegetarian Recipes - March 15th 2011, 01:17 AM

Hiya, for those of you who are vegetarians (Or former vegetarians) out there, what are/were some of your favorite recipes? One of my favorites is sauted veggies (Whatever you can find, though spinach, onion, and garlic are the bast) with Tortellini.

one of my favorite things to make is BBQ/hot sauce chicken! you just get some of morningstar brand veggie salad chicken strips (they are pre seasoned) cut them into bite sized pieces, then heat olive oil in a big pan. fry up the chicken in the oil until browned, then put the sauce mix (heat should stay around 7, but the sauce will splatter so take it off the eye when you put it in and mix, and you should use a splatter screen :P) sauce should be a generous amount of spicy honey bbq sauce, with about 1/3 of that amount in louisiana hot sauce. after that, cook on about 4 or 5 until the sauce gets caramelized :P

depending on how much of the bag you use it can make anywhere from 1-4 servings :P

thats probably my favorite recipe though (that i made at least xP)

On the outside I'm smiling,
but inside im crying.
I'm silent, but screaming,
I'm so slowly dying.

I've just turned non-vegetarian, so I know alot of veggie dishes, and since I'm from South India, there's a lot of veg recipes going on here!
I love curries, but snacks are great. Cauliflower that's been par-boiled is great when thrown in a wok with spices and some oil, to get them golden and crispy! And super yummy!

My sister is a vegetarian. She makes this really good vegetarian lasagna. With bell peppers and onions. I'm not really the vegetarian type, but this dish is very delicious.
