Strawberry or Chocolate Frosting? -

So, when I'm older I hope to own a cupcake bakery since I love to bake, especially cupcakes. Needless to say, I've been trying to perfect my cupcakes. This will be my first time experimenting with filling inside of the cupcakes.
While I was in school today, I thought of an interesting idea- Chocolate covered strawberry cupcakes. I'll make a traditional chocolate cupcake and fill it with strawberry filling. The only problem is that I don't know what kind of frosting to use. If I use chocolate, it will be chocolate over-kill, but if I use strawberry frosting, would it be strawberry over-kill? These are the questions I ask myself. I've considered making chocolate and strawberry frosting and then putting both flavors on there, but I don't know. Opinions anyone?  People help the people, And if you're homesick, give me your hand and I'll hold it. |

I'd say chocolate.
But what about strawberry cake, with chocolate frosting?

If I were to order one of these cupcakes, then I would choose the chocolate frosting. BUT, that's because I prefer chocolate frosting over any other flavor.

You could try a chocolate frosting with some fresh strawberries on top? If you do a chocolate frosting, make it yourself so you can control the amount of cocoa that will go into it, so you can decide what is overkill and what's not.

Chocolate has a strong taste and I think strawberry filling would actually be really good. It would be a like a chocolate dipped strawberry!

Definitely chocolate! But that is because I am chocolate person. Perhaps you should do a mixture of both so that way it keeps everyone happy

I would use chocolate frosting as a base and then use a cake decorating kit to draw designs in strawberry frosting, so the cupcakes would be basically chocolate with strawberry accents.

The flavours mix in icecream so I can't see why not... Chocolate and orange is my fave combo!
