For my birthday, I decided to treat myself to something nice for lunch - rare fillet steak! yum! I put thyme, salt, pepper and olive oil on it and then cooked it in a frying pan till rare and had it with mustard and salad.
How do you like your steak? |

I only ever eat steak in restaurants and even then I have it pretty plain
 I like it medium well with chips and ketchup. My favourite type is sirloin steak

Medium-rare with chips. Mushroom or peppercorn sauce is great, although I don't really need it.

I don't like steak

Medium rare with onions, mushrooms and a glass of red wine. Don't mind much about the potato option.

Medium-well with a very specific Cajun spice on it: Cayenne, green and black peppers, paprika, sea salt, garlic, rosemary and a small amount of ground chives.

Well done and well seasoned.
Whenever my dad makes steak it's still bleeding and he only puts salt and pepper on it. Ick. :P I always have to cut my piece off, season it, and microwave it for a minute. I very much prefer it when my brother makes steak.  People help the people, And if you're homesick, give me your hand and I'll hold it. |
