Celery - April 9th 2012, 04:10 PM

This may seem like a stupid question, but I was wondering if it is true that celery has negative calories and has zero calories what so ever?

Well celery has about [Edited by Wallflower. : Calorie numbers.] calories per 8 inches (or so). It's not so much the chewing that burns those calories, it's the digestion. Even so, it's not like it has no calories- it's just that it has so few it's like eating air. But as far as I know it's not technically "negative" calories.
