Unhappy Mitch Lucker - December 22nd 2013, 11:03 PM

I know that Mitch Lucker (former vocalist in Suicide Silence) died over a year ago, but I still really miss him. I know you're probably like 'he's just a celebrity that you liked, stop acting like a baby, you didn't even know him personally' or some shit like that, but he's my inspiration. Some people just see his music as screaming, but it was so much more than that. He put so much meaning into his lyrics. I am full of anger whenever I think about how directioners responded to his death. they were making fun of his death and telling his little daughter Kenadee to kill herself. I know it's not all of them, but a lot of them responded in that way. And what could we do about it? We defended him, but it's not like we can get them to stop. They need to think about if the roles were reversed. If Harry Styles fell dead one day and we were making fun of it and laughing at his death and telling his 5 year old daughter to kil herself (even though that wouldn't happen), I can guarantee you that we would be attacked. As it literally attacked. They wouldn't just yell at us online. Those directioners are really fucking scary. They will hunt us down and slaughter us.
Another thing that bothers me is that Mitch was an atheist. He deserves to be in Heaven though, because he was an amazing person. The thought that he could possibly be in Hell is unbearable, even though I believe that he's in Heaven.

I think that it is normal that you are still missing him, whether he is a celebrity or not. While I haven't listened to a whole lot of Suicide Silence I know that his, as well as many other artist's, music is really inspirational to a lot of people and carries a huge message, so it is very understandable why you are upset over his death.

It's also really not right how some people responded to his death, especially telling his daughter to kill herself.

I think that he probably is in Heaven, though. He impacted so many people's lives in such a positive way, he deserves to be.

Try to remember that he'd want you, his loved ones, and all his fans to be happy and carry on his legacy. He'd want all of you to stay strong and remember the meaning of his lyrics, rather than to be sad.

Hey, there!

I'm really sorry to hear about how this loss has taken a big toll on you. I agree with Dez - it's perfectly normal (and ok) for you to be upset about the passing. The only thing I do want to warn against is if this loss is taking a big enough toll on you to where you're having a hard time functioning in every day life. If this is the case, then you need to seek help (i.e., talking to a counselor, social worker, etc). If this is not the case, then all is ok (although you can always feel free to still go and talk about things to a counselor/social worker).

When times are hard, definitely refer to his lyrics. The passion, the thought, the emotion in every word he said should be enough to help you through some situations.

I hope things turn out ok.

Best wishes,

I hope you know that you deserve it all. The best, the most honest, the most beautiful purest love in the world. Not only to be loved by others, but to be loved by yourself. To look in the mirror and think "Yes, I'm exactly who I want to be". To speak up and be proud of yourself. To be brave and open. You deserve the nicest and most caring people to walk into your life. You deserve it all, you know. The whole world...
