R.I.P:Gloria - May 26th 2009, 04:56 PM

dear gloria,
you died young,at the age of 13,by a speeding car.
personally,i didnt know you,but you used to be best friends with one of my best friends.
you died young, and hadnt experienced life.
you opened up my eyes to new oppurtunities, new goals i want to achieve before i die,
you died young, and you hadnt yet begun to live
which is why i decided i shouldnt take peoples crap anymore, and stand up for myself
you died young, yet full of life
you were happy,to be alive
you died young, leaving loved people behind
which is why when i die,i want people to remember me as the fun girl who wasnt scared of anything
you died young, yet you died having the time of your life
which is how i want to die ,with a smile
gloria, ive heard alot of bad things about you,and im afraid theyre true, but you were too young to die, esp.when you were enjoying life.
im sorry.
i wish i knew you better.you seemed like such a bright person
may your soul rest in peace

Jasmine,

It is difficult to lose anyone who is part of your life. When people die so young it makes you question a lot of things. It doesn't seem right that they weren't given a chance to accomplish everything they wanted to. It also makes you face your own mortality. It can be easy to forget that you too will die one day. When someone you know passes away it is a harsh reminder of that. However, something good can come from this. It can wake you up to all of the wonders and opportunities you have that you might have overlooked before now. You have the ability to live on in Gloria's memory. Make every day count for something. You can't see the future and don't know how much time you have left so value every day you are given. Death effects you even if the person who passed wasn't someone you knew well. If you ever need someone to talk to about anything I am here for you. You can make it through this. Take care and hang in there.

Lots of love <3 Mimi

I heard about Gloria's death. I can't imagine what her family's going through knowing that she's been hit-and-run. They haven't caught the driver who ran over her, did they? I didn't know her personally but I wish I did, she seemed like a good person... Everyone's sad that they lost yet another friend, first it was Salim who died in a car accident...

May their souls rest in peace <3

i was looking through my friends texts today, sitting in the gym, waiting for the busses, and i saw some texts from her, damn, if only she knew what wouldve happened a few days from then, and she was so young..i feel so bad for her
