I just found out from my cousin that my longtime friend Rachal hung herself saterday evening. She left a note explaining that she had been in an abusive relationship for a year no and just recieved news she was pregnant. she said she couldn't bear the thought of bringing another of him into the world. She had some long standing mental issues, that probably stem from the reason her grandparents had custody of her when she was a minor, but I never thought, she was my best friend just up untill I had Kegan, she helped me through taylor's death. She was always so strong, and brave. last time I talked to her, three weeks ago, she seemed like she was doing okay. i dont know maybe i should have known.
Just for anyone who is counting that brings the grand total of my friends who have killed themselfs to three, Michelle, David and now Rachal
is it me or, well, is it me?
Rest in peace Rachal Anne.

I'm really sorry to hear about the loss of your friends... grief is never an easy burdon to bear, and I know that it can take quite a while to really process. Its definitely not you, Brianna. Its really just unfathomable, loosing a friend to suicide. I couldn't imagine loosing three . And everyone has different reactions... take care to pay attention to when you're blaming yourself... because you don't deserve that. You were a good friend to her. Its not always easy for people to reach out when they need help... especially when they're in such a desperate situation. Sometimes, you just can't know. But she was definitely lucky to have a friend like you.

I want to reassure you that this was not your fault in any way, neither was the other suicides. People who commit suicide are usually in a lot of emotional distress and sometimes there was nothing that could have been done. You didn't know she was thinking about suicide otherwise you would have helped. I know this must be a really hard time for you right now and its natural to be grieving for her. Do you have anyone to talk to about it? It might help if you had some support, what about your cousin?
