Gone in the blink of an eye.... - June 2nd 2009, 12:00 AM

Its been a month... My dad died from Multiple Myeloma (bone marrow cancer) and a fungal infection in his lungs. He passed at home with mom and i. He was in hospice care. They said they would b here for us when he went but they werent. the nurse was horrible that night. I went downstairs for a min to grab new sheets cuz what we now know was dads body giving out, he pooped in the bed. When i was down stairs i heard mom saying o kevin no no honey and by the time i got up the stairs he was gone... I remember him just laying in the bed with his eyes open. Im just now starting to grieve it because i went into the hospital the day after his funeral and had my gullbladder removed and had really bad pancreitious. Why did this have to happen to me?? Why do i have to go through this. Im only 17. Dad was only 47. WHY??
I Love u daddy!!!!

Hey there,

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. It must be incredibly hard for you to cope. Things like this always seem so horribly unfair and they really really are but I guess you just have to try and believe that it happened for a reason and something good will come out of this terrible, terrible event.

You'll be in my thoughts, PM me if you need anything,
Faye x

I seriously just shed a couple tears. I am sooooo sorry for your loss. and know that I care. I will pray for you.

I see that you are a Christian,so I just want to say..
God will not put you through things that he knows that you can't handle. You will get through the tough times. and God always listens.
