-Let him know that your there for him And that if you ever need to just vent stuff that your willing to listen. Even just being there for him, on his side is a big help.

Just be there for him and let him know that you're there if he needs to talk or even if he just needs a hug. That's really all that you can do. Cancer is such an awful illness and I'm very sorry to hear that your boyfriend's grandfather has to go through it. Just make sure that you're there for your boyfriend. I'm sure that this is really difficult for him to deal with.

Hey, I'm so sorry to hear that your boyfriends grandfather has to go through this. I've watched a few of my family members pass away from the illness, but many more survive! People can win the fight against cancer. Staying positive can really help sometimes but do try and stay realistic. Just showing your bf that you are there for him is all you can do really. Good luck hun and I hope it all goes as good at it can. x

Hey Josh,

I just want to echo what everyone has said about being there for your boyfriend. Your presence and understanding will be more than enough, in this difficult time in his life. Know you do not have to be "everything" for him--a shoulder to lean on, someone to talk to, and a hug and a kiss is more than enough, and will help him in profound ways.

Make sure you're taking care of you, too. All my best.

Someday I will be strong enough to lift not one but both of us.
I told you to be patient
I told you to be fine
I told you to be balanced
I told you to be kind
