Aunt Angie; Angel with a G. - November 11th 2009, 09:23 PM

Angie Mason
Died at the age of 34.

She died 4 days before the Christmas of 2008.

With Christmas coming up sooner than I want it to, everyone else has moved on and ready to be happy. My oldest cousin (Angie's oldest daughter) is laughing about her death, as if she didn't care.

Me and my little cousin (Angie's youngest daughter) still feel like shit. We tried to be happy, watching my grandma put up the lights, but somehow, I just can't find it in me to smile anymore. Christmas will always have sadness and be related to something sad.

I don't want to be sad.

Bob Bryar, you may have quit My Chemical Romance. But the sounds of the drum at the end of Welcome To The Black Parade will echo through our hearts.

First off I am sorry to hear about your loss. Its never easy to lose a loved one. I lost my step dad last february, but he was declared brain dead on christmas eve and I am definately not looking forward to this years christmas whereas some people in my family are completely over it.
I guess some people grieve differently and 'get over' things sooner than others.
I know it sucks to be sad, but time will heal you.
Try to focus on the good memories with her rather than having lost her.
Good luck and stay strong!

Yesterday is history.
Tomorrow is a mystery.
Today is a gift.
That's why we call it the present.
