Gone to the great litter box in the sky... - November 28th 2009, 09:29 PM

My kitty, Portia, who was 18, was found dead in the garden this morning.

I'm alright.
But my little sister, 12, is absolutely distraught. She liked to use the cat as her own personal bed-warmer/carry toy.

I can empathise entirely with your little sister... I lost my soul-pet five long years ago, and I've never fully gotten over her death.

But I hope that your little sister will not grieve too long; I know some will say "its only a cat" but pets can be so much more than that!

I'm sorry to hear about your kitty ): It's always so hard to lose pets. They become such a part of the family.
I hope that your sister is able to recover from this soon, as well as yourself.

I hate when people say that.. I just ignore them when they say that..

So if people at your sisters school say that, just tell her to ignore them when they say that..
