Unhappy Erm, right place? - January 27th 2009, 12:30 AM

Not sure if this is the right place.

But I found out one of my ex's, like...this guy I care about greatly still..

Has 2-3 years to live. And I don't know how to react. He told me and I've been kind of numb since. Not sure what I want out of posting this.

It's just, I just got back from being in a hospital and he tells me this...and yeah. =/

I'm really sorry to hear that. I can understand that you're numb but perhaps he told you because he cares too. I'd talk to him, perhaps he just wants some support. I assume that you were close before and he wants to hold on to a part of that because of the time he has left. I can understand it's difficult to cope with; but if you can offer your support I'm sure he'd greatly appreciate it.
I'm here if you want to talk at all.
Hope things are okay for you.

I'm here to talk; just PM me :]

I'm so sorry. News like that is hard to hear. But I think what he needs is someone to help him make the best of the time he has left. He probably wants to make sure you two stay close during the next few years. His timing may have been bad but would you rather he waited a while and you knew when he had less time? I'm sorry to hear about you recently leaving the hospital and I hope your doing alright. If you ever need to talk I'm around just message me.
