Confused? - February 15th 2009, 01:34 AM

I'm not confused but I didn't know what to write.
A family friend, community volunteer, employee at a school passed away.
It sucks, I haven't talked to her in a while and she died.
Stupid hospital, I blame them.
She went in on monday for a routine surgery, hurnia's [idk how to spell it].
Turned out it was worse then they expected. Okay no big deal you handle it.
Had complications. Well duh! They didn't expect what they found.
After she had uper respitory problems. Kept her for 4 days and sent her home.
Wtf. You send her home, stil with upper respitory problems.
She dies of cardic arrest. Stupid stupid stupid.
If they had just kept her, she would probably be here now!

I'm not upset, I'm angry that the hospital didn't pay more attention or make her stay there longer. I'm kinda happy she died [I can't care anymore]

Hey

Yeah, im sure you must be feeling very angry right now! Especially if you know something could have been done to save her. You cant hold onto this anger forever though, its not healthy. Is it possible to speak to the member of staff at the hospital and talk to them about what happened. It sounds to me as though something went wrong and they didnt handle it as they should have

I'm sorry for your loss.
I personally agree with what you said. I usually blame the hospital and the doctors and nurses too. They send people away before there ready to be out on their own.
Just know that, with all the anger you have somewhere in there it might be hiding your hurt and its going to come out. A lot of times with a loss it doesn't hit until later.
I hope you handel your emotions in a good way.
If you need to talk about it or just vent about stupid doctors feel free b/c i am right there with you.
*hugs*
