my best friends mom hung herself i found her she was dead when i found her but i saved her life.....now my best friend hates me and the whole family blames me because i promised to take care of the family ( i was also the families nanny) but i coudn't even do that....i am a horrible person....i haven't delt with it because i can't i keep pushing it farther and farther away but i have nasty flashbacks and nightmares and everything its horrible...if i just was there like i was suppose to be

You can't go through life blaming yourself for this. You'll drive yourself crazy! What's done is done. There's nothing you can do that will change what has happened. I'm sure this didn't happen all because of you, so stop beating yourself up for it.

Hon, that wasn't your fault at all. You can't be held responsible for other peoples actions. Her decision to do what she did, had nothing to do with you.
If her family blames you; it's only because they're really hurting right now and trying to deal with what happened. They need somewhere to place the blame; and unfortunately you're on the receiving end, despite the fact that you're not to blame at all. Don't take it personally, like I said, they're just hurting. Don't take it out on yourself. We all need somebody to lean on <3
