Petrified- shes dying - March 19th 2011, 06:54 PM

My grandma's in hospital. Not sure why- whether it's the cancer back or something else. But she's lost loads of weight, and the will to live.

I'm so scared of losing her. I really don't think i can handle it. She's the only person who i really care about, who really loves me. I just feel so helpless.

I can't eat or sleep, feeling so anxious all the time.

I just can't lose yet another person

Just one smile makes you think i'm happy... why won't just one tear make you realise i'm not? x

Heyy there.

I'm so sorry to hear about this. I've lost three people in my life so far, and it never get easier to lose someone you love. I'm almost completly sure that she's not the only one who loves you though. It's easy to feel as if this is the case but it hardly ever is.

It's natural to worry about these things. When my grandmother was in hospital, I always pushed it to the back of my mind. One night though, it was all I could think off. It made me feel physically ill to the stomach at the thought of her not being there and me never being able to see her again. So I know how you feel, and there is really nothing worse than losing someone to death.

I hope she does pull through though. So I'm wishing you all the best in everything, and my thoughts are with you at this time. You can PM me at any time if you want to talk, I'll do my best to help you, and if I cannot, I'll always listen. Chin up gorgeous, people here at TH are there for you. <3

Would you let me see beneath your beautiful
Would you let me see beneath your perfect
Take it off now girl, take it off now girl
I wanna see inside.

I'm really sorry to hear about your Grandma :'/ It's really hard to loose someone you love, but maybe I can tell you my viewpoint, because it may be able to help you through this time?
Basically, the way I think of things, is that, this life is kind of like a waiting room to a better place. So when someone passes away, although the natural thing is to grieve, I try and stay positive and think about how much better off my loved one now is. If your Grandma isn't well, then wouldn't she be happier, where there was no pain? She's probably not lost the will to live, but she has just come to terms with the fact that she might not get better, and is just looking forward to heaven?:-)
This is just my opinion, and I hope that I've helped.
Your Grandma would want you to keep smiling! Stay positive:-) xxxxxxxxxx
