I found out last night that Elisabeth Sladen (Sarah Jane Smith) died of cancer yesterday. I am completely devastated, I don't know whether to think if its real or a nightmare. She was so young to die and it hurts because I can't tell anybody how I am feeling because they will tell me to grow up for crying over somebody famous like they did when I told them about my other hero.
This is driving me crazy and I really want it to be a nightmare and when I wake up she is still alive...but I know its true... <3If we fall will we waste away<3

Heyy Michaela,
I know how you feel. When I heard the news, I almost felt like it HAD to be wrong. It didn't feel right that she was gone without a warning and death is hard, whether it be someone you were close to personally, or someone you felt some sort of connection to, but didn't know. I believe many Sarah Jane Smith fans are feeling just as you are, but it will get easier, believe me. Message me if you ever want to talk to a fellow fan of Miss Smith. Elizabeth Sladen was a fantastic actress, and although she passed away yesterday, her memory lives on through Doctor who (both old and new) and The Sarah Jane Adventures. If we keep her in out hearts, she never has to fully leave the world behind. ![]() Would you let me see beneath your beautiful Would you let me see beneath your perfect Take it off now girl, take it off now girl I wanna see inside. ღ |

I know what you mean. I felt the same way when Corey Haim died and I couldn't tell anyone because I knew they just wouldn't get it and the swirling (false) rumors of a drug overdose didn't help matters. No one here will judge you for grieving her loss. It also helps to talk to other fans of hers.
