He was a horse a stunning white 20 year old horse. He died today from cancer his name was Armani and he was the first horse I ever had a lesson on and galopped on. I cant stop crying and I dont know how I'm supposed to go to school tomorow and I cant get a pardon cause I've been ill and not going for 2 weeks now. I'm just torn at the moment and Im not sure how to take it and everyone in the family asks me : how are you? and are you going to be okay? My big sister is even watching to make sure Im not cutting myself in the bathroom when I go. I just need some space and its wierd because they normally treat me like crap... I just dont know how to get throw this...

who fights may eventually lose, but who doesn't even fight has allready lost.

loosing a companion like that can be hard, I can only imagine loosing my birds it would be the end of me... And I know what you mean its a lot different form a cat or dog cause horses are a lot more smarter and they too attach to the owner.. so its really hard.. And I know you don't wanna get another horse just yet it wouldn't be right and it wouldn't feel right.. But I think you just need to keep yourself busy and all and look at all the good memories and how your horse is in heaven and its no longer suffering

Hey there,

I'm so sorry to hear the sad news. Anyone, human or animal, that is close to you is part of the family and it's always sad to lose them, so I'm so sorry you have to go through this. I'm sure your family are just being supportive though, and you should be greatful for that.

As for school, you've gotta' be strong. I know it's hard and it may be difficult to pay attention, but maybe you could let your teachers know what's going on and then they may be a bit softer on you for not being as proactive as you could be.

Try not to hurt yourself. Be strong, you c an get through this! PM me anytime if you want to talk.
Take care and keep smiling,
Hollie.

Hi. This must be such a difficult time for you, I'm so sorry for your loss. I know it's hard to imagine right now, but it will get easier with time. you just have to stay strong. Try remembering all the good times you had together and focus on your happy memories of Armani, rather than how much you miss him. My dog can always tell when I'm upset, and I'm guessing it would be the same with horses. I'm sure your friend wouldn't want you to be sad for too long. It's good your family are being supportive, but if you want a bit more space just tell them you'd like to be alone for a while as you come to terms with what happened. If it's easier you could just ask your sister to tell your parents for you and I'm sure they'll respect your wishes. like Hollie said, it would be good if you could let your teachers know, so that they go easy on you for a while. If there's a good friend at school you can tell it would make it much more bareable as well, because you'll know there's someone there who knows what your going through if you ever feel overwhelmed and need to talk. I hope you start feeling better soon, and I'm so sorry again for what happened. <3 xx
