Dallas Renee Newbill - August 13th 2011, 08:34 PM

Dear Dallas,

My mom called me this morning. She said she had some bad news for me. I figured my dad wasnt coming up for my sister going off to college, or I forgot to shut my window so my room was soaked, or.......... our house had burned down, or something inconsequental like that. But no. She told me that you had died in a car accident. What the hell. Couldn't you wait? You didn't even say goodbye! No last bear hug that always made me feel better? Dallas, will you come back, please? Let me trade places with you! You had so much life left in you. So much energy. I swear, we could have powered the world off of you, instead of the stupid sun. Dallas, next time you decide to leave, let me know, ok? Let me prepare myself. Who am I kidding. Theres no preparing myself for this... I'm gonna miss you, Dallas. Like hell.
I'm going to your house tommorow. What am I going to say to your mom? There's nothing I can say. She loved you so much, Dallas. We all did! We all do. The soccer team is just.... lost right now. The season's gonna be so different without you. You were half the life of the team! Me and you together....god, why'd you have to leave?
I love you, becky. I'm mad that I can't say that anymore, love. Im not gonna get over this. Not for a looooong time.
Kick some balls up there, babe. I love you. I'll miss you.
Rest in paradise.
