I can't believe he's gone :(

So my grandpa on my mom's side died yesterday. He was only 68 years old. Seemed perfectly healthy and then died of a sudden heart attack. Out of all my family I was closest to my grandpa. I never knew my grandma she left him before I was born. my dads parents want nothing to do with me. No matter how mean my parents were my grandpa always loved me. He always bought me presents and he liked to have me over and he always hugged me. He was the only family member I had that actually treated me like family and now he is gone. Out of no where just like that and I can't believe it. I have to go to his funeral on Saturday. I really regret that I didn't go to visit him the whole time I was pregnant and he never got the chance to meet Jeremy. I am going to miss him so much! I wish I had just one last chance to see him before he died.

I'm sorry for your loss, Blue. You should forgive yourself, it's what he would've wanted. He's probably looking down upon you and Jeremy from Heaven right now, and he's so proud of his little girl.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Just remember that your grandpa is proud of you. He's looking down on you and smiling. Honestly, the best advice I have is to live your life in a way you know he would want you to live it . . if that will make you happy, of course. PM me anytime you need to talk.

Try to let go of your regrets, sweet heart. Write them down, and maybe send them up to the sky in a helium balloon. Let him know that you love him and that you miss him. It will be a journey through grief, but I believe that you can do it !

I am so so sorry Blue! I feel the same way you did with my Uncle. Me and my mom would go to visit him every month and for New Years Day of 2010 my mom was going to visit him but I decided not to go because I wanted to stay home with my dad and a week later he died in his sleep. I regretted not going that one last time for months.
