Divergent trilogy - February 27th 2014, 05:26 AM

This thread has been labeled as containing spoilers. The contents of this thread might therefore describe important elements of a storyline that could ruin it for you. Please take this into consideration before continuing to read.

I am absolutely obsessed with the Divergent trilogy. I'm reading it for the third time. Has anyone else read the whole series yet? I'd love to hear your opinions on the ending. I kinda saw it coming but I still cried. Also what do you think about Uriah not being in the movie? I'm so upset about that I might not even see the movie because of it. Stupid Hollywood always ruins good books!

Once I got nearer to the end I figured what was going to happen...especially since the Four viewpoint chapters were introduced this book.

I haven't read the first two books in a while so I can't remember how big of a part Uriah played in them but he was in the third book quite a lot so I'm wondering how they're going to get around that in the movie.

I'll probably go see the movie but the casting of the characters and just the general feel of the movie isn't what I expected.

I've heard they'll be casting for Uriah. They just couldn't find someone they thought would fit well for Divergent. I don't remember him being in the first book much anyways.

Uriah introduced Tris to zip lining so I really want to see how they pull that off. I heard that he's going to be introduced in Insurgent, but I still don't think it'll be the same.

I don't think the Uriah thing will make the movie any worse than it could be. Most movie adaptions of books leave out characters or scenes. Even Harry Potter & Hunger Games have left out things & still became very successful. I'm actually really excited for the movie, it looks pretty awesome for a movie adaption of a book.
