Writing my own book - April 24th 2015, 01:36 PM

I have decided to start and write my own books, I have decided to do it in the same style as the TV series Castle. I have one name for a character so far and a background story. Her name will be Esme Gold and her parents both died when she was young. Her father was murdered in front if her and her mother died in a slip accident on ice. She became a cop to try and find her father's killer. She meets a writer who starts to shadow her. I need a name for him, I'm open to suggestions

A way to come up with names can be by searching up on Google for first names, and then a last name generator to come up with a good last name for it.

Good luck on writing your first book. I'm an author, so I know how hard it is and how stressful writing your first book can be. Hope the final draft comes out great

Hey!

I think it's really cool that you're writing your own books. Do you have any idea how long you plan to make them or how many you want to write? I've got a bit of experience with writing (although nothing published, really) so if you want to chat about the process I'm more than happy to oblige.

Good luck!
