City of Bones (The Mortal Instruments Series) - June 17th 2011, 03:30 AM

This thread has been labeled as containing spoilers. The contents of this thread might therefore describe important elements of a storyline that could ruin it for you. Please take this into consideration before continuing to read.

I just finished City of Bones and the end of that book is MESSED UP.
Spoiler:
I mean, you find out the person you love is your BROTHER and you're fine with that? Really? You kissed him! I can't even imagine kissing my brother. *Shiver*

And now, for some reason, I can't wait to read the second book. And I don't really know why.

Ohhh! I love this series! Keep reading, it gets better! The other series, Infernal Devices, is also pretty cool.

I read City of Bones when it came out and I'm probably older than it's target audience now, but I can't wait to find out what happens next

You really need to read the next few books... They are brilliant. Best series I've ever read, ever ever ever. Don't be put off. I think the newest book, City of Fallen Angels, is my favourite. <3

Maybe it's not my weekend but it's gonna be my year.

It's perfectly fine to be a happy individual.

Take off at the speed of sound...

Haha, that's how I was. I was so mad at the end of that book but I had to read the next one because I needed to know what was going to happen. I love books like that, though. You'll love the next few, keep reading!

Yeah, I got City of Ashes yesterday and I'm already on page 108. I just wish Simon would accept her Shadowhunter-ness.

Is it just me that thinks Jace is an ass? Or that he and Alec should totally have got together, and Clary could've had Simon. Or someone new. Or something.
*Sigh* Whatevs.

I don't like Jace or Clary Alec&his-ship-which-i-can't-reveal-'cuz-of-spoilers are by far my faovurite couple. And Simon's my favourite character - Team Simon ftw!

I admit, I was a little weirded out at that point too.
But keep reading. It all becomes clear (and less gross ).

Nothing in the world is
the way it ought to be.
It's harsh, and cruel.

But that's why there's us - champions.
Doesn't matter where we come from,
what we've done or suffered,
or even if we make a difference.

We live as though the
world is as it should be,
to show it what it can be.
