The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. I've started the first one, and it's really good so far.

Any of the Sarah Dessen books, although Just Listen in particular.

Gone, by Micheal Morpugo is VERY VERY GOOD
Also in the seris is Hunger and Lies

I loved these books. Think Lord of the Flies (Ugh -_-) crossed with romance books and action. It's amazing

I agree with any Just Listen book. As well as The Replacement.

I'd also like to point out that the GONE series (it's VERY good) is by Michael Grant (Gone, Hunger, Lies, Plague) and Gone is being made into a movie.

"'Colie, you should never be surprised when people treat you with respect. You should expect it.'
I shook my head. 'You don't know--' I began. But, as usual, she didn't let me finish.
'Yes,' she said simply, 'I do know. I've watched you, Colie. You walk around like a dog waiting to be kicked. And when someone does, you pout and cry like you didn't deserve it.'
'No one deserves to be kicked,' I said.
'I disagree,' she said flatly. 'You do if you don't think you're worth any better...'"

I love those sad-books like:

Any Lurlene McDaniels book,
Veronica decideds to die - Paulo Coelho,
Before I die - Jenny Downham,
Cut - Patricia McCormick,
If I Stay - Gale Forman,
Speak - Laurie Halse,
Living Dead Girl - Elizabeth Scott

And there are the Fantasy series:

Vampire Academy - Richelle Mead
House Of Night - PC and Kristin Cast
Immortals - Alyson Noel

The "Absolute Favorite" thread in this forum has a lot of great suggestions as well, if you haven't already seen it.

I really liked "Unwind" by Neal Shusterman, but it really depends on what genre you like. I'm a bookworm, so I have plenty of recommendations.

Did gyre and gimble in the wabe;
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the [mome raths] outgrabe.

It depends what genre you're looking for but I'll try and name a few

Wicked Lovely series by Melissa Marr
Need series by Carrie Jones
Entangled by Cat Clarke
The Betrayal of Natalie Hargrove by Lauren Kate
Stolen by Lucy Christopher
Numbers by Rachel Ward
Willow by Julia Hoban
Vegan Virgin Valentine by Carolyn Mackler
Love Lessons by David Belbin
Good Girls by Laura Ruby

I hope you like at least one of these books

I own around 200 books, so I'd be here all day naming me faves, however I've just started reading the Harry Potter's again, I'm on book 5 and I'm addicted all over again, haha.

Another favorite is "A piece of cake" by Cupcake Brown - me all time fave!

A Piece Of Cake is fantastic, I'd definitely recommend it as well.
She's Come Undone by Wally Lamb is one of my favorite books of all time. you really feel like you're going through life with the main character.
I also really liked As She Grows. It's triggering as hell, though.

"Once a little boy sent me a charming card with a little drawing on it. I loved it.
I sent him a card and I drew a picture of a Wild Thing on it. I wrote,
“Dear Jim: I loved your card.”
Then I got a letter back from his mother and she said, “Jim loved your card so much he ate it.”
That to me was one of the highest compliments I’ve ever received. He didn’t care that it was an original Maurice Sendak drawing or anything.
He saw it, he loved it, he ate it."
