FORGOTTEN -

I can't for the life of me remember the name OR author of this one book!!
Okay, so my mom got me this book from the library in like seventh grade (about three years ago). I really want to read it again, but I can't remember a lot about it. I don't think it was a particularly brilliant book, but it's my "life mission" (as I find myself calling it) to find this book! I hardly remember anything about it, but: I remember that in the beggining, a school bus dissapeared in a time warp. It was about a girl, and I remember that there was some sort of mansion, with a sunny garden and a statue(?) and a round room in a tower or something. There was an old lady, sinister I think. The girl's mother had left her...I THINK. That's basically all I remember!!!  I DO remember that it was an uncorrected proof, it had a somewhat uninteresting gold front cover, with red writing. It also had some sort of picture on the front, but I can't remember it! I know this is EXTREMELY vague, but if anyone's got any idea at ALL of what it might be, I'd really appreciate it =) Tears Falling Down To Lips Unkissed
