Anyone Read the Percy Jackson Series? -

Hey guys,
its a bit random and old but anyone else sucked into the whole "Percy Jackson" series by Rick Riordan? The book is set for elem to middle school kids; but the story line and everything is fantastic. Anyone out there loves the series?

I read the original series years ago, never read that second series that came out. I liked it ok, but eventually really hated Percy and Anabel and really all of the characters in general, mostly because of the clumsy writing. It was a good universe but the people who lived in it suck, imho.
