Facilitated Chat Room Discussions. -

Every week the Chat Room will now be hosting group discussions facilitated (guided) by one or more members of the TeenHelp Staff. These discussions allow you to get together with a group of people who have had similar experiences to you, share your experiences and advise one another. The role of the facilitator is to keep the discussions healthy and encourage everybody to participate, as well as to share their own thoughts with you. Each discussion will take place twice so that those in different timezones are still able to participate. Each week these sessions will be advertised through notices on the site, or you can find out what each week's session will be here: http://www.teenhelp.org/chat/discussions/ (also found under the Chat Room menu).
We currently have four sessions planned, and they are as follows: Saturday 5th September 2009 – Sex and Relationships 8pm-9pm BST (UK) [7pm UTC] – Facilitated by Adam 8pm-9pm CDT (USA) [1am UTC, 6th] – Facilitated by lost-myself Saturday 12th September 2009 – Depression and Suicide 8pm-9pm BST (UK) [7pm UTC] – Facilitated by Lizzie 8pm-9pm CDT (USA) [1am UTC, 13th] – Facilitated by Jessie * BST is British Summer Time. * CDT is Central Daylight Time. |

You have to download Java and then you enter it from the top bar.

Aw this sounds like a really cool idea, I wish I could use the chat room. I use a school-issued laptop so Java and the chat room is blocked
