it's starting to affect me way to much - October 24th 2012, 02:28 AM

so I'm bi okay and currently I have a girlfriend and we live in a town full of homophobes so we catch a lot of crap we get called all kinds of stuff sent so many nasty messages stuff gets thrown at us they litterally have her crying and the teachers do nothing they literally turn the other way and act like they don't see it whenever we're together they actually look right through us like we aren't there it's annoying and more importantly it's upsetting my girlfriend and I just hate that it's just affecting us way to much

Maybe you could talk to your school counselor about it. Tell them what's going on, and they can probably help

Also, your teachers might be more helpful if you were to approach them directly about the situation. They might think it will embarrass you if they bring it up or defend you in front of everyone, especially if your girlfriend was crying, or they might not realize that you want/need help. Unfortunately, some people won't offer help unless you ask for it.

Hello Fexy,

I'm sorry that people treat you a certain because of your preferences, personally I think it's a beautiful thing when two people can have a loving relationship, no matter who they're partner is. The best thing you can do is let then do ask the talking they want. They only treat y'all like that because they're insecure about themselves, they can't stand to see someone else happy. You just have to enjoy the time with your partner and let the haters hate. I hope things get better for you

If you ever need someone to talk to, you can pm me, I'll be glad to help.

Joel
