Unhappy ISS for no reason? - October 23rd 2013, 07:14 PM

I was in the computer lab with the class doing something for the counselors. This one girl keeps banging on the table, and I told her to stop because it distracted me. She continued to do so even louder and the counselors told her to stop. And when we were going downstairs, the teacher was not there. So she banged her hands together in my face and I put my hands on her shoulders and said, "STOP." And she backed off dramatically. When we were downstairs, I was walking by here and she just came up to my and punched me in the face. We both got in trouble, but I do not see why I did because I touched her on the shoulders and said, "STOP."

What should I do about it? My parents are all up my arse.

As I do not know exactly how your parents are or how they would react, I would try asking them to sit down with you and hear your side of the story. Tell them exactly what went on, detail by detail and explain to them why you did what you did and how you went about it. Tell them you would like to speak to the administration or school board about the ISS (which I personally think you should fight as an ISS can be on your record).

I did talk to them, but the keep telling me "Stay away from them! Leave them alone!" And I was trapped, surrounded by others blocking the exits of the stairs. :/
I also tried to tell the others at the meeting that it was unfair, but they did not listen to me.
I have (well, had, now) a clean record and I do not want anything to happen!

I'm not sure but if you live in America, in some states you are able to try and take legal action against the school district if there is no legitimate meeting or thorough investigation on the matter.
